As the world grapples with the escalating challenges of water scarcity, exacerbated by climate change and rapid urbanization, the need to promote a higher level of wastewater reuse has become increasingly important.<\/p>\n

Wastewater, once considered a mere byproduct, now holds immense potential as a valuable resource that can alleviate water stress and contribute to a more sustainable and circular water management approach, particularly in urban areas where water demands are high \u2013 and rising.<\/p>\n

Managing urban wastewater effectively and efficiently is \u2013 or at least, should be \u2013 a priority for communities and governments across the world.\u00a0 Yet the track record to date is far from encouraging.<\/p>\n
