plus qu\u2019une entreprise.<\/p>\r\n<p>Notre d\u00e9funt fondateur, le Sheikh Abdul Latif Jameel, est lui-m\u00eame n\u00e9 dans un pays en d\u00e9veloppement qui, avant qu\u2019on y d\u00e9couvre du p\u00e9trole, \u00e9tait particuli\u00e8rement affect\u00e9 par la pauvret\u00e9 et la faim.<\/p>\r\n<p>Ayant vu directement l\u2019impact que cela avait sur les communaut\u00e9s du Moyen-Orient et de l\u2019Afrique du Nord, il a inculqu\u00e9 d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part \u00e0 son entreprise et \u00e0 sa famille un fort sens de la philanthropie active et le d\u00e9sir de cr\u00e9er une href=\"https:\/\/communityjameel.org\">Community Jameel<\/a>, nous sommes rest\u00e9s fid\u00e8les \u00e0 cet esprit, en aidant \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s, \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la faim, \u00e0 lutter contre la pauvret\u00e9 et \u00e0 placer les individus et les communaut\u00e9s sur la voie de l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\r\n<p>Il n\u2019est peut-\u00eatre donc pas surprenant que les deux premiers objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable soient \u00e9galement deux des principaux domaines d\u2019action de la Famille Jameel\u00a0: ODD1, \u00e9radiquer la pauvret\u00e9 et ODD2, \u00e9radiquer la faim.<\/p>\r\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s au cours des soixante-quinze ans \u00e9coul\u00e9s depuis la fondation de l\u2019ONU et d\u2019Abdul Latif Jameel, il est plus n\u00e9cessaire que jamais d\u2019atteindre ces objectifs.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Efforts pour \u00e9radiquer la pauvret\u00e9<\/h2>\r\n<p>La pauvret\u00e9 est plus qu\u2019un simple manque de revenus et de ressources. C\u2019est aussi la faim et la malnutrition, l\u2019acc\u00e8s limit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation et \u00e0 d\u2019autres services de base, l<\/p>\r\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-89841\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alj.com\/app\/uploads\/2021\/06\/UN-SDG-1-banner.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"934\" height=\"223\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>a discrimination et l\u2019exclusion sociales, ainsi que le manque de participation \u00e0 la prise de d\u00e9cision.
