{"id":8577,"date":"2022-06-16T05:11:56","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T05:11:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.alj3.clients.lemonhq.io\/quick-reads\/lexus-turkiye-pioneers-metaverse-phygital-launch-event-for-the-all-new-lexus-nx\/"},"modified":"2025-12-09T08:49:04","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T08:49:04","slug":"lexus-turkiye-pioneers-metaverse-phygital-launch-event-for-the-all-new-lexus-nx","status":"publish","type":"quickreads","link":"https:\/\/cms.alj3.clients.lemonhq.io\/en\/quick-reads\/lexus-turkiye-pioneers-metaverse-phygital-launch-event-for-the-all-new-lexus-nx\/","title":{"rendered":"Lexus T\u00fcrkiye pioneers metaverse \u2018phygital\u2019 launch event for the all-new Lexus NX"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Luxury automotive brand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lexus.com.tr\/\">Lexus T\u00fcrkiye<\/a> has launched the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lexus.com.tr\/car-models\/nx\/\">Lexus NX<\/a> with a unique and pioneering \u2018Metaverse Experience\u2019 and \u2018Special NX NFT Artwork\u2019 in what is being called a \u2018phygital\u2019 press launch event.&nbsp; This adoption of new, groundbreaking technology comes quickly off the back of the approach first seen in Toyota T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s annual strategy meeting in <a href=\"https:\/\/media.alj.com\/en\/news\/toyota-turkey-holds-annual-strategy-meeting-in-metaverse-the-first-in-the-countrys-automotive-industry\/\">February<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lexus has been commended for pushing the boundaries by stepping out of conventional automotive launches with this event.&nbsp; Press members met in a large hall in Belek, Antalya and were positioned at tables spaced apart.&nbsp; In the weeks leading up to the event, photos of the participants were requested and their life-like unique avatars were specially created for the Metaverse. &nbsp;Each participant received state-of-the-art, high-tech VR glasses which allowed everyone to make an intuitive entrance into this digital world, specially prepared for Lexus in the Metaverse universe.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.alj3.clients.lemonhq.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/HSYL0177-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-99586\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants met with Lexus executives, chatted with their colleagues, and even interviewed executives for the first time within the Metaverse environment. &nbsp;Guests enjoyed the interactive gamification elements, such as building the new NX in various different environments, specifically designed with the Lexus design theme in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.alj3.clients.lemonhq.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/NFT-3-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-99600\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Metaverse experience, the new NX was physically introduced on the stage. In this way, the physical world and the digital world were brought together with the launch of the Lexus NX and this \u201cPhygital Press Launch\u201d became a media first in the automotive sector in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Q&amp;A session, feedback indicated that the NX event had exceeded guests\u2019 expectations.&nbsp; In addition, Lexus NX\u2019s specially created NFT artworks
