Abdul Latif Jameel opens country\u2019s first Lexus showroom"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following its appointment as the Lexus distributor in Turkey, Abdul Latif Jameel has opened its first Lexus showroom continuing its expansion and investment in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alain Uyttenhoven Head of Lexus Europe reaffirmed investment in Turkey saying: <em>\u201cWe expect the Turkish automotive premium market to grow from about 80,000 units in 2015 to more than 100,000 units in the near future. This puts Turkey in the top 7 in Europe. We are therefore extremely happy to launch Lexus in this strategic emerging market, together with our partner, Toyota Turkey Marketing and Sales.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 1,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> facility, which opened in the Maslak district of Istanbul is another sign of Abdul Latif Jameel\u2019s ongoing investment across the MENAT region.&nbsp; In a further mark of its confidence in the burgeoning Turkish market, new Lexus showrooms are also planned in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa and Izmir.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.alj.com\/app\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Ali-Haydar-Bozkurt.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1112\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alj.com\/en\/our-people\/ali-haydar-bozkurt\/\">Ali Haydar Bozkurt<\/a>, President and CEO of Toyota T\u00fcrkiye Marketing and Sales Inc (TTMS), said: <em>\u201cWe were waiting impatiently for this day to come.&nbsp; Our president, Akio Toyoda, said the ultimate goal of Lexus is not to produce cars but to produce a work of art \u2013 and every Lexus model sold today is a proof of this idea.<\/em><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.alj.com\/app\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Lexus-Showroom-Turkey.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1114\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cLexus is not just a luxury car brand, it is a way of life. Lexus will help redefine what luxury means in Turkey, and will give premium segment customers the experience they deserve. Lexus is the new definition of luxury.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The Istanbul showroom l features a range of Lexus models, including the RX, NX, GS, RC, IS, CT and LS.&nbsp; The company\u2019s new 2.0l turbo engine is expected to drive sales, while full hybrid models are &nbsp;also available.&nbsp; Lexus owners receive a personalized service and have access to a network of almost 60 service points across Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.alj.com\/app\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Group-with-Award.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1115\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Toyota Turkey has also been recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute as one of the \u2018Best Employers in Turkey\u2019 in its annual survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 57,000 employees from 92 companies across Turkey were questioned for the survey, which was unveiled in June.&nbsp; TTMS was the only automotive industry brand listed in the organization\u2019s \u2018Best Employers in Turkey\u2019 list, where it was ranked third out of 13 companies in the 50-250 employee category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Great Place to Work Institute is active in 56 countries and represents more than 16 million employees worldwide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7757,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-7755","quickreads","type-quickreads","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Turkish delight!
