This agreement will ensure the development and deployment of &nbsp;energy storage projects under an innovative \u2018Energy Storage-as-a-Service\u2019 (EnSaaS\/Saas) model focused on the Mexican industrial sector.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b0Lre8vxUe4<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Furthermore , FRV has pledged to assume all investment and operational costs of the model, which will provide noticeable electricity bill savings to its customers, who will be able to utilize the service without an investment or fixed service fee. The model\u2019s cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will be based on the latest Liion battery technology, and is operated with ETB\u2019s sophisticated predictive optimization software, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energytoolbase.com\/product\/control\">Acumen EMS<\/a>\u2122, laying the groundwork for the large-scale and innovative deployment of this technology and business model across Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This system will be integrated by Ecopulse in Mexico City, in the thriving industrial center of Iztapalapa. With a nominal power of 480 kW, clients will be &nbsp;provisioned with up to two hours of stored electrical energy. &nbsp;This will provide industrial clients with a valuable energy consumption optimization service, without interfering in client production, generating sizeable electricity tariff savings, without the obligatory capital investment payments or associated operating costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is FRV\u2019s first major energy storage project in Mexico under the EnSaaS model, and is specifically designed to optimize and manage energy consumption for both commercial and industrial clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/media.alj.com\/en\/our-people\/fady-jameel\/\">Fady Jameel<\/a>, Deputy President and Vice Chairman, Abdul Latif Jameel, stated:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;We are proud to announce that FRV, part of Abdul Latif Jameel Energy, has entered into a long-term agreement with software specialists Energy Toolbase, and \u2018behind-the-meter solutions\u2019 developer, Ecopulse. Our partnership will lead to the development of innovative energy storage projects, with an initial focus on the Mexican industrial sector. This groundbreaking collaboration will serve to emphasize our continued commitment towards digitalization and expansion, showcasing the great strides made by businesses in diverse global markets.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>FRV-X has a current collective portfolio of more than 500 MW\u2019s of battery storage projects worldwide, which includes a 42 MW footprint in commercial operations. This project represents a further step in FRV&#8217;s global expansion into the field of energy storage, as well as representing its continued pursuit to increase its already sizeable portfolio of projects of a similar nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Energy storage systems provide an ideal cost-efficien mechanism, that reduces &nbsp;grid congestion, balancing the electrical system, while mitigating the impact of intermittent renewable generation, in the form of wind and solar power.
