Abdul Latif Jameel Energy\u2019s<\/a> Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV<\/a>),  a leading global developer of renewable utility-scale projects, along with British renewable energy developer Harmony Energy<\/a> announced today the commissioning of their first utility-scale energy storage project at Holes Bay, Poole, Dorset in the UK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project uses six Tesla Megapack, Lithium-ion batteries that enable utility-scale energy storage with a capacity of 15 MWh and are connected to the Southern Electric Power<\/a> distribution network, capable of powering 17,000 homes, a first in the British power industry.   The utility-scale energy storage facility operates using Tesla\u2019s cutting-edge \u2018Autobidder\u2019 AI software.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3545,"menu_order":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-11144","inthenews","type-inthenews","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nStoring green power in Dorset -
