While there have been plenty of virtual art exhibitions<\/a> and shows to keep us entertained at home<\/a>, those looking to get their art<\/a> fix in person can now head to the Jameel Arts Centre in Dubai<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completely free to explore for all, the art centre is now open from 6am to 10pm from Wednesday to Monday, with social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art enthusiasts can check out three floors of exhibitions<\/a> and installations, Art Jameel Shop, the Artist\u2019s Garden, seven desert gardens, and Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with its current exhibitions including Iraqi-American artist<\/a> Michael Rakowitz\u2019s first major solo exhibition in Asia and the Middle East, there are three new solo exhibitions to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First off, art film fans can see the regional premiere of In Vitro, a highly-acclaimed two-channel film installation by Larissa Sansour that debuted at the 58th Venice Biennale. There\u2019s also a set of 60 etchings by artist Taysir Batniji titled To My Brother, exploring loss and memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the multi-award-winning Lawrence Abu Hamdan will be premiering an audio-visual installation This Whole Time There Were No Landmines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
